My Approach
Many studies have shown that the single most important factor in successful therapy is the relationship and connection between the therapist and the client. My commitment to you is to provide a safe, warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental place for you to express yourself and feel understood.
My style is very interactive. If you're not sure how to begin a session, I'm there to help you get started. I usually like to hear about what has happened during the week, thoughts and feelings you might have about what we covered in the last session, and topics you might want to make sure we cover in the session.
Even if you're still unsure, I'm a naturally curious person and sometimes people appreciate me asking questions, suggesting ideas, teaching skills, and providing encouragement and support.
